Cell strucutre and function

what would happen if a cell containing many dissolved solutes was placed in pure water?

It will expand in size because water will come into the cell, I think - though always get a bit confused with these ones!

THE CELL WOULD SHRINK BECAUSE THE CONCENTRATION OUTSIDE WOULD BE MORE HIGH COMPARED TO OUTSIDE.
