Do wormholes enable us to time travel wherever we like?
Question asked by: mrquestion

No, wormholes would have the end attached to a fix point in space and time.
So if a wormhole existed and you could theoretically traverse it without harm, you would come out at a particular moment: and most people believe that you could therefore not travel back in time before the wormhole was created.
So if humans manage to create a wormhole in 2100, then in the future you could go back to 2100 which in itself would be novel, but you couldn't get back before the creation of the wormhole. Maybe that's why we don't have any time travellers from the future visiting us!
