Is it wrong to eat meat?
Question asked by: mrquestion

It depends on your beliefs as to whether it is wrong to eat meat or not.
For those who are vegetarians for moral grounds for instance then it is wrong to eat meat.
For those that eat meat then it is not wrong to do so: it depends which side of the argument you come down on when it comes to whether eating other animals has a moral dimension to it or is just something that happens.
Many argue people are always telling us we are just animals - nothing special - and one thing constant about animals in nature is that they eat each other in a very many cases, therefore since we are a product of that same nature then there it is natural for us to do the same. Others say we should 'rise above that' given our developed brains and reflective self-conscience and not eat meat given the choice. It is up to you which side of the argument you choose to support.
