Does one hand clapping make a sound?
Question asked by: mrquestion

It won't make a sound that you can readily pick up, no because it is not hitting another surface, it is just moving in the air.
However with sensitive sound equipment you would pick up the gentle swoosh of air being displaced around the hand as it moves through it, so there would be something detectable as a sound with the right equipment.
Therefore there is a slight sound!
