I have aurburn hair. i want to dye it black...will it look ok?

Interesting question, with regard hair dyes and dyeing hair.
The answer is that the hair should take the dye fine and end up black.
The issue therefore will be more with your complexion.
You will probably have fair skin being auburn, and therefore your face may look washed out and gothy against the dark black of the hair dye.
If this is the look you are going for then it will be fine, but if not then maybe a shade of brown would be more suitable.
