# In year 7 there are 260 pupils how many are likely to be girls

Question asked by: jdal700

This depends on what sort of school it is. If it is a boys school then there is zero chance of there being girls there.

If it is a mixed school then you could expect there to be a 50/50 split and therefore if there are 260 boys say then you would expect there to be 260 girls too.
