Recycling of WATER

How can we recycle the marine water? The marine water is on 3/4 part of earth and some fields of our contry are consisting very law water level. So, I think that we should invent a transjenic plant which can do less hardness of marine water.

The problem with using marine water is making it safe for human consumption.

There is very high mineral content in seawater and therefore most of these need to be removed, this is very expensive and therefore making seawater drinkable in a cost effective manner is very hard indeed.
