Most bulbs benefit from being stored in a location that is cool and dry.
You should ensure that it is away from direct sunlight as this can affect the bulbs badly and also that it is roughly the same temperature, not too low or too high.
And as mentioned ensure there is no moisture present.
Many simply store them in a black bag together ready for planting the bulbs again the following year.
