Depression means that there is low pressure, so this is one thing to note - associate the two of them together, depression and low pressure.

And the other key point is that when there is low pressure this usually also means that there is a period of unsettled weather and it can be quite changeable, for instance rain is often there.

So the answer is - unsettled weather and low pressure are what are expected with depressions.
