Are childrens and adult shoe sizes different?
Asked on: 14 Aug 2009
Yes childrens and adults do indeed have different shoe sizes.
The childrens sizes of course start much smaller and also the instrumental difference between sizes is quite small too, thus there can be a much swifter increase in size for childrens shoes than there would be for an adult, often a child will go through several sizes in a year. Also therefore it is often worth getting shoes with growing space so as to ensure that they don't instantly need to buy a bigger pair.
