How can I clean dirty marks from theedge of my cream carpets?

What are the dirty marks from? Is it just mud or something else instead that is causing the dirty marks.
With dust and dirt marks then the best thing to do is first sweep up any loose dirt on top with a dust pan and brush.
Once that is done then use soapy warm water to wash clean and then dry off gently.
