How do i get paint off a carpet?

If you have flecks of paint on a carpet then you will often find that you will simply be able to scrape them off the carpet.
If that brings no joy then pop to your hardware store and get their advice for what product to use as it depends on two factors:
the type of paint you are using (e.g. water based, emulsion)
the type of carpet you have (e.g. wool or synthetic) which will require different treatments to clean and remove the paint stains.
