How do I know what type of hair I have?

Asked on: 26 Aug 2009

If your hair tends to feel greasy and look quite shiny, then the chances are that you have oily hair.

If when you rub your hands through it it feels quite fine and actually a little bit brittle or dry, then you have dry hair.

If it is not obviously either of those then you have hair that is neither dry nor oily but just somewhere in the middle, and in which case it doesn't matter too much what sort of shampoo you use during your hair care routines.
