How do we Know we have a soul

We do not know that we have a soul.
The answer to this comes down to a matter of faith, that means you just have some strong belief it is true or not.
The thing is not being material by definition then there is no way of knowing about it through the methods of science and usual enquiry that humans use to investigate the world and things in it. So it just comes down to either believing in it through some sort of religious or spiritual belief, or saying that it does not exist as there is no evidence in the scientific realm for it if you decide to take the other path available.
