How do you know if you're in love?

The annoying answer to this is that you just know, but to some extent that is right: it just feels different and more intense and you might even get cliched things like butterflies in the stomach.

If you have never felt things like this then the chances are that you have never been in love.

But it doesn't have to be an intense thing: it can grow gradually over a period of time rather than being an all or nothing thing.
