I had a crown done and it feels weird is this normal?

It depends where it is.
If it is a molar or other big tooth then it will tend to settle down quickly if all done right and you will forget about it.
However if it is a prominent tooth like an incisor then it can feel really awkward for a long time and you may still be aware of it in your mouth a few months down the line. In that position you should stop doing tearing and strong biting motions as this could take the crown out: for instance biting into an apple is not a good idea if you have a crown on an incisor.
