If animals wanted to be eaten would it be OK?
Question asked by: mrquestion

This depends on what you think is wrong with eating animals initially.
If it is the fact that given a choice they would choose not to be eaten then it would seem then this would allay that issue.
If the problem is that you think that it is cruel then presumably whether the animal wants to be eaten or not is neither here nor there.
This is one of those interesting thought experiments in philosophy in recent years about the pig that wants to be eaten.
