If I am an atheist and God exists would I be punished for that belief?
Question asked by: mrquestion

It depends on what you believe the Bible to say, or which Christian denomination you belong to.
Some emphasise the element of forgiveness in the Bible that is a prevalent theme, whilst others that adhere literally to the old testament will point more to the fire and brimstone and ultimately the repent or perish philosophy.
