Not necessarily because all relationships are different.
Some start intense and strong feelings then they wither quite quickly whilst others may start more moderately but build up over time.
So you should give the new relationship time to see how things work out, and also ask yourself whether you are just reflecting too fondly on previous relationships and perhaps you didn't feel as strongly in that previous relationship as you think you did.
