Is Alan Sugar still doing the Apprentice?

There was some controversy about whether Alan Sugar would continue doing the Apprentice or not given that he was appointed as some sort of government advisor on business to Gordon Brown.
However that has been cleared up in that the BBC have said that yes he can film another series however with the election in the UK in 2010 it has been put back a bit so that it does not coincide with the election, though quite what the program has to do with politics no normal person has any idea!
