Neck scarf pattern

I recently saw a small neck scarf made of chiffon. It looked like a collar, it was bias cut and maybe cut in a circular pattern as it folded over or curled around once you draped it over your neck. It was about 5"-6" wide and about 24" long. Does anyone know how this is made?

Do you have a photo or other illustration of it, finding it hard to imagine in my mind that particular item of clothing!
