Removing paint from windows

hey there, I was wondering if anyone new what to do when your windows have been painted shut, is there any way to get the paint off and be able to open the windows again without having to replace the windows. Please please help as the house is toasting and i need air ha-ha! Plus i am 32 weeks pregnant and would really like to air the house every now and again. I would be grateful for any advice that i could try out.

Get your man to scrape off the paint that is sealing it shut maybe so that you can open it again?!
