SHM

Two identical gliders on an air track are connected hy an ideal spring. Could such a system undergo SlIM? Explain. How wonld the period compare with that of a single glider attached to a spring whose other end is rigidly attached to a stationary object? Explain.

Does SHM stand for simple harmonic motion?

I don't know the answer but it might help someone who can answer the question if you explain what the acronyms you use are... hope this helps :)
