What are continental crosswords like?
Question asked by: mrquestion

Continental European crosswords are pretty unrecognisable from those in the UK.
They tend to have a grid with just one or two black squares in each row and column, and rather than numbering each clue across and down at the start of each row and column there are a series of clues. A comma or some other interruptor, like a dot, indicates the order of the clues in that row or column.
