What does Lego mean?
Question asked by: mrquestion
Asked on: 07 Apr 2008

Lego is a type of childrens toy and so many lego bricks have been sold it is estimated that if they were stacked end to end they could go up to the moon and back ten times (that means an awful lot of bricks if you think about how far away the moon is and the size of each brick!)
Anyhow lego means 'I play' coming as it does from the Latin 'legere' which is the very 'to play' in Latin.
