What is a chemical equation?
Question asked by: mrquestion

A chemical equation is one that shows what actually happens in a chemical reaction at the atomic level.
For instance if you do chemistry at GCSE level then you will look at some simple equations such as carbon and oxygen combining to form carbon dioxide as in C + O2 = C02 well that is an example of a chemical equation.
