What is a job share?
Question asked by: mrquestion
Asked on: 06 Jan 2010
A job share is the process whereby typically two but sometimes more than two do one job.
For instance if you worked full time but move to half hours then someone else may come and do the other half of your job, and this is called a job share.
Typical job share roles are things like being a secretary or something along those lines. They are popular with people who cannot work full time perhaps due to other commitments such as having school age children and so forth.
