What is Avogadro's number?

This refers to the number of carbon atoms in 12g of carbon-12. The number is very, very large, and has the value of 6.022045 x 10^23). The relative atomic mass of any element contains exactly the same number of atoms (e.g. 1g of hydrogen will contain the same number of atoms).
