What is Io like?
Question asked by: knowitall

Io is one of the major moons of Jupiter the planet that is greedy when it comes to size and moons!
Interestingly different major moons of Jupiter have radically different properties.
Io is almost like a pizza in its look, it is scorched and covered in sulphur and volcanoes.
All of this activity comes from being close to Jupiter and the pull and gravity and charged particles from Jupiter make life very unpleasant and restless for Io.
