Did life come from a comet?
Question asked by: mrquestion

There is no particular reason to think that life was delivered in a comet.
What comes from a comet and hits a planet or other body is called its payload, and some of this of course will remain after the impact, or be changed by the impact.
It is thought possible that some organic chemicals might have formed and come to earth on a comet like say some simple amino acids perhaps, but there is no particular evidence for this or reason to think it is the case.
