What is mean by mid oceanic ridge
Question asked by: smita922

A mid oceanic ridge is the name for a geographical phenomenon and feature of the ocean floor.
It is essentially an underwater mountain. Now that might sound weird but it's not - just consider a mountain fully submerged as it is surrounded by water, and there you have it: a mid-oceanic ridge.
