What is the best way to use mouthwash?

It depends and each mouthwash will have instructions on the back telling you how to use them.
However in most cases they tell you to take about a capful of the mouthwash liquid and then to swill it around the gums and the teeth for about 30 seconds or so, then of course to spit it out and not to swallow!
