Where did Lady Godiva ride naked?

The answer is through the streets of Coventry. It happened - if at all - around the year 1057, and she was accompanied by two soldiers.
Legend has it she did it in a deal with the Earl or Mercia to lower the taxes on the people of the town - if she rode naked, taxes would be lowered.
