Which animal develops completely inside its parents body

a. frog b. elephant c.goose d. crocodile
Question asked by: perfecta

Asked on: 26 Jan 2011

An elephant does because it is born as live young, the others have eggs or spawn and therefore they develop largely outside the body of the parent.

Elephants are massive and probably have the longest gestation period of any mammal, much longer than a human pregnancy for instance.
