Why life is called a expression of energy?
Question asked by: bjyotis

Well, life processes require energy.
At our own small level what we do is basically cheat entropy, in other words we are ordered systems, but in order to maintain the order in the body against the natural trend to disorder, we have to use large amounts of energy in the process, leading to a net increase in entropy and thus preserving that law.
Thus energy is what is key to all parts of life, and energy being converted from one form to another for instance in respiration and so on and so forth.
