Can I lie on my CV?

It is not right to lie on your CV so you should avoid doing so.
Whether people do it or not is a different matter, it would be naive to think anything other than that there are people out there who lie on their CV!
However you should avoid doing so, if you want to make things sound impressive that's fine but don't lie outright.
