Does eating before bed stop you sleeping?

It depends what you eat. If you have a small amount and something quite light then I do not think it would have much impact.
If you have a heavy meal then of course it could make you feel a bit sick if you lie down straight away afterwards.
If you have something ery sugary then this will up your energy levels and you might feel wide awake and wired rather than wanting to sleep so again that could impact negatively.
