Dos Command??

I'm currently enrolled in a CINS class. we are learning Dos and command line. A challenge was presented to us (to issue the directory command for \windows directory, to display only .EXE files in wide format without changing directories. *Also issue command for help on Version command (XP ONLY). Thanks!!.

To view a directory and then only a certain type do:

dir *.exe to only view exe files in that directory

to do the help command just type 'help'
