Is it OK to take photos in art galleries?
Asked on: 14 Aug 2009
It depends where you are.
Many art galleries have signs up saying that you should not take photos - sadly many people ignore these and get out the camera or, these days, the mobile phone instead.
If in any doubt ask when you go to the gallery if you are allowed to use photographic equipment and particularly if you are allowed to use the flash.
