Is the Bible literally true?
Question asked by: mrquestion

There are three schools on this.
There are the devout and ultra orthodox Biblical scholars who interpret things literally and say therefore that Noahs ark really happened and the creation story is completely accurate.
Most these days will say that these are stories that contain important moral messages, therefore we do not need to interpret them word for word but rather take the morals out of the stories and so on.
Finally there are those who are non believers who believe that everything is made-up.
