There are 37 numbers on a roulette wheel. The first winning number is 12. What are the chances that the second winning number will also be 12?

The chance of the next outcome being the same number is not affected by previous instances, therefore the chance is still 1 in 37 of it being that number the second time around.
However, if the question is what is the chance of having 12 occur two times in a row, then the answer is 1/37 x 1/37.
