What is the connection between geography and history?
Question asked by: knowitall
History is the study and understanding of the past and anything that has happened before the present day right back to the dawn of humanity (history is normally human history).
Geography is the study of the earth and the land around us, and implicitly also leads us to look to the past to understand the current situation.
Therefore they both are linked in trying to understand the world around us, by looking at the past.
