Which planet is closest in size to the Earth?
Question asked by: mrquestion

The planet closest in size to the Earth is actually Venus and not Mars like many people think.
To some extent it is a twin earth although due to being that bit closer to the sun it has had a very different fate indeed and most famously the so-called runaway greenhouse effect that has led to arguably the most inhospitable surface for life anywhere in the solar system.
