Who invented puzzles?
Asked on: 14 Aug 2009
Puzzles do not have an inventor as such.
Rather over time people would have come up with questions that were hard to answer, and these would be puzzles.
Often they would be practical puzzles that would help advance knowledge when they were overcome, questions such as the shape of the earth or the nature of the total sum of angles in a triangle and so on.
Others were entertainment puzzles and riddles such as the riddle of the sphinx.
