Who was the Taj Mahal named after?

The Taj Mahal is one of the most famous buildings in the world and many more are styled on it.

The Taj Mahal was built by a Mughal Emperor to honour the memory of his wife. The wife was called Mumtaz Mahal, hence the name Taj Mahal for the building.
