Guinea pigs have gone up in cost in recent years just like most animals.
However they tend to be one of the most affordable pets with the exception of something like goldfish.
Typically you might look to pay anywhere in the region of £15 - £30 for a guinea pig these days, so they really are not that expensive at all and can be a very enjoyable pet to keep.
