How much does it cost to advertise on television?

It costs a fortune to advertise on television compared to other media.
However there are ways to reduce the costs.
The biggest cost reduction comes if you change channel away from one of the main ones, these cable channels that hardly anyone watches have much lower costs than mainstream ones.
You tend to pay for slots of a given number of seconds so also reducing the number of seconds of advert that you purchase then you can also reduce costs; also picking quiet times of day and not massive shows like X-Factor or so on you can reduce costs that way too.
