If astrology works why are its predictions wrong for me?

There are several responses to this.
The most common response is that it's rubbish for you because it is not true.
Those defending the belief system may state:
the person who gave your reading or predictions were either poor or did not know you personally and you are responding to a general reading which is not accurate. Or that you used free will to act against what was suggested and therefore it did not apply to you almost of your own volition.
You must decide personally which is the truth.
