I'm excercising regularly and eating a healthy diet, yet i can't get rid of the 'flab' i've got on the inside of my legs as they join my bum, what can i do to tone these bits?

If you are losing weight, but retain it in one part of your body then it strongly suggests that the exercises you are currently performing are not sufficiently isolating that part of your body.

If there are no exercises you know of to do so, then the best tip is to pop along to your local gym for advice.

They should be happy to give you some ideas for exercises, and if you drop in that you thinking of joining they will give you a tour of the equipment, drop in what you want to work on and they will suggest an exercise you can do!

Elliptical cross trainers are by far the best form of general all over toning exercise, I love 'em! It's also low impact, so low risk of joint strain, and there are variable programmes too. All gyms have them now (make sure you use an elliptical one, this basically means your arms move too!) or you can buy them for your home if you have the space. But beware of cheaper ones, you need a good quality one that will last a good few years, is gym standard and won't impact joints and motion due to cheap clunkyness. Don't spend less than £1000. Take a look a manufacturers in the gym and then look up their website. You don't need a high spec gym one, but one somewhere in between, say, one that is suitable for a small gym. Plenty to look at on the web.

Try doing some running and swimming. These are good exercises for toning the legs.
