Repair of broken terracotta pots

Hi Does anyone know what kind of ahesive I can get to repair broken terracotta pots, and where it's available please. I have seen a large one in my garden which has been repaired with some kind of adhesive, but it was here when I bought the house! Many thanks

It may be worth asking at a DIY or hardware store for their advice on this.

There are some really strong adhesive glues available in these shops that are used, for instance, for glueing heavy duty metal and other objects together, so it may be that one of them would be suitable for glueing the ceramics together too.
